4.2. General Standards & Expectations – All Events
4.2.1.
These rules apply at all times during an event, regardless of session. They provide a general set of expectations of all drivers and teams that must be adhered to at all times when participating in events.
4.2.2.
iRacing’s General Principle, as set out in paragraph 2.1.1 of the iRacing Sporting Code states:
The “catch-all” general article. Be respectful and courteous on and off the track.
It is expected that each member will treat other members, drivers, iRacing.com officials, employees, spectators, partners, guests on any iRacing websites and the community generally in a respectful, fair, and courteous manner.
Bullying, abusive, threatening, rude, mean, and disrespectful language or actions are not allowed.
iRacing.com has sole discretion to determine if the behavior of a member is causing negative issues or angst with others and the community.
4.2.3.
In addition, all participants are expected to behave in a manner which is upstanding of the series at all times.
In particular, there is zero tolerance for any behaviour which is deemed to be sexist, racist xenophobic, homophobic, or otherwise clashing with an individuals’ held beliefs.
This applies to behaviour whilst participating in events, but also whilst communicating with others on social media.
4.2.4.
Additional expectations of behaviours may be set out in the agreement signed by individuals prior to participating in this series. Penalties for any behaviours not listed here, but in the agreement will be assessed under the same penalty structure outlined in this document.
